Angel Racing Food set up in 2002 as a collaboration between Jowe Head and Lee McFadden, adding Mick Frangou on drums. Chloe Herrington joined on bassoon and alto sax, then Nick Smith on bass. We recorded our debut album with this line-up. More recently, we have the new line-up of Jowe and Lee, plus Jeff Bloom on drums and Marina Young on bass, plus recent addition of Rob Mack on sax. Jowe played with Jeff in the Television Personalities, and Rob in a version of the Househunters. Lee knows Marina from The Long Decline. This 5-piece is the current live line-up. ARF's have been described as "eccentric mutant rock". Well, make your own mind up dear listener!
