Andy Cowling is a classical guitarist, electric guitarist, and composer from Fairmount, Indiana. In 2009, Andy graduated from Ball State University with a B.Mus in Classical Guitar Performance. Andy continued his education at Ball State University, graduating with an Artist Diploma in 2011. Andy is an active concertizing musician with performances in various venues ranging from university settings, libraries, new music festivals, and retirement homes. Andy has held teaching positions at Taylor University, as an adjunct professor, Ball State University, as the Graduate Assistant for Guitar, and Artsplace, as a guitar instructor. Currently, Andy lives in Hannover, Germany where he is pursuing a Künstlerische Ausbildung M.Mus at the Hannover Hochschule für Musik Theater und Medien studying with Prof. Frank Bungarten.
