Campbell’s music reflects and clearly reveres the ’70s dub revolution, paying tribute to the masters and employing a few of them to get the groove just right. He's a veteran bass player whose notoriety is just taking off with the release of this solo debut and he's been the band leader for both Yami Bolo and Junior Reid. Andrew "Bassie" Campbell is the progenitor of Young Tree Records, a California-based Independant record label.
