Artist
Scott Monteith departs the dub techno of Deadbeat for esoteric drone kosmiche vectors in duo with guitarist Andreas Völk, planing space between axes of Basic Channel and Popol Vuh, Rafael Toral and Kevin Richard Martin, in the fruits of one night’s improvisations on effected Rhodes keys and vintage organs. Voelk and Monteith craft something uniquely their own: an ambient landscape where repetition becomes revelation, and where time itself seems to loosen its grip when two sonic worlds briefly align, and time momentarily stands still.
