Hailing from the Bay Area, California, Ander Mac (aka Alexander Mac) is an independent underground rapper, singer, and producer. He began producing beats and writing songs at the age of thirteen and continues to do so twelve years later in 2022. As a mid-90s adoptee from Siberia, Russia, Ander found himself lost in identity and drawn to making music for the simple purposes of healing, growing, and learning about himself as an individual; he wants to share his perspectives with the world through sound. Ander began releasing his demos on SoundCloud in 2017 and by October 2022, he had completed recording and rebranding his track collection into three full-length mixtapes: Alter Ego, Alter Ego II, and Alter Ego III. Released in November 2022, his Alter Ego mixtape collection marked the end of his Alter Ego era. In 2023, Ander plans to branch out to other genres, beginning with his official debut single of 2023, Too Attached, which showcases his vocal abilities and a deep house sound.
