And Yet It Moves had raw and simple ambitions: squarely to save music from mediocrity. Connecting human beings with music. No bullshit. No prisoners. Featuring former The Amazing Snakeheads members Dale Barclay and Laura St. Jude, alongside Jespar Lapp and Jonas Duus of Danish shoegaze group Droem, who together had witnessed firsthand the banality of the music industry and came out battered but unbeaten, And Yet It Moves wanted to play music for the love of it. Live they enraptured crowds with a real natural chemistry, Barclay’s undeniably captivating aura and expansive, songs of sorrow mixed with themes of the heart. Following the tragic passing of Dale Barclay in 2018, former members of the band moved on to form Astral Tide, Nonoia and Dark Patterns.
