Anchor The Appetite is a hard-hitting Post-Pop Rock band based out of Little Rock, AR. The overall experience takes the listener through multiple genres, and doesn't fail to move their listeners. ATA sought after being a highly unique band, and put in all of the work they could to provide a mostly "in-house" organization with competitive results. The band formed in 2015 when frontman Tyler Bakke constructed the name, but the origins date back to late 2013. Band founder's Scotty Emberton and Ryan Self were states apart, discussing why members of the industry were running the show the same as it has been, when all of this technology is forging a path for new ways. "There's no need to adapt when nobody is able to reach your calibre". Scotty's thoughts on the matter would spill over while Ryan delivered newspapers. Eventually they arrived at the decision - they will make their mark and find a way to compete. So they began working on demos. States away. Nearly a year later Ryan showed Tyler Bakke who, at the time, was being questioned about others' material on a regular basis. Upon listening, he knew immediately where he belonged and never really officially tried out. Sort of took control of the idea, brought the image and filled in the gaps that were present.
