Anamorphic Optiks (Taken from the word anthropomorphic, meaning the attribution of human characteristcs to a god, animal or inert form of communication) consists of one member who has recently started to explore a non-genre based form of music production. This inexperienced but enthusiastic & dynamic producer hopes to reach levels of influence inspired by artists such as Plaid, Monoral, Groove Armada, Venitian Snares, Boards Of Canada, Kid 606, DJ Clock and many others. Currently, Anamorphic Optiks has one full time member; Zen Hoegaarden who, under this alias, has been systematically removing the boundaries of his understanding of the Electro, Dubstep and Hip-Hop genres among many many others. The other members of the band remain nameless much like the major GM promoting pharmaceutical companies of today.. At present, Zen has been seeking to impart wholesome and insightful messages through experimentation with progressive beats and a penchant for "stream of consciousness" dialogue. Anamorphic Optiks began in the throes of civil unrest; this civil unrest localised to a house located in Middlesex, Greater London. The influences of electro accoustic, dub and a myriad of other well known and obscure genres all came together to form a creative explosion that has thrown the house into a state of productive confusion of new and startling sounds..
