Analogue Skyscraper is a one man experimental audio project. An avid fan of actual aural sound over musical theory, Tommuel Reynolds began creating sounds when just sixteen. The music can range from the most delicate, fragile and textured ambient soundscape peices; to the harshest blasts of sonic noise and the most cut up, unconfortable and shrill sounds. Anything and everything becomes a sound source for the project, and many different methods have been used to create sound, ranging from electroacoustics, normal instrument abuse, sound sourcing, drones, destroyed loops and digital overworkings. Unafraid to use both analogue and digital means to create audio, taking both a minimalistic view on music creation as well as using modern computer-aided electronics, Analogue Skyscraper is the final result. Tommuel also runs the DIY experimental music label Scrape Tapes. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
