Artist
AnnaGrace was a Belgian dance music project fronted by Belgian singer Annemie Coenen and produced by Belgian DJ/producer Peter Luts. The project first achieved success in 2008 with the hit singles "You Make Me Feel", "Let the Feelings Go," "Love Keeps Calling" and the 2010 debut AnnaGrace album Ready to Dare. However, Coenen herself is best known as the former singer and front woman of the famous Belgian trance project Ian van Dahl. # AnnaGrace This project merits consideration as a thoughtful intersection of dance music and vocal artistry. What distinguishes it is how it balances electronic production with genuine melodic sensibility—the tracks construct intricate rhythmic frameworks while allowing Coenen's voice to remain emotionally present rather than merely decorative. The album exists within a broader conversation about trance and dance music's relationship to pop accessibility, exploring whether these genres can sustain emotional depth without compromising their structural identity. Given Coenen's prior work in the trance sphere, *Ready to Dare* represents a deliberate recalibration of her artistic voice, testing whether dance music's mechanisms could serve vulnerability as effectively as euphoria.
