about

Best described as 'quirky singer-songwriter plus orchestra'. Chamber-Pop meets Indie. The band has morphed into this from their former incarnation as an Indie-Pop band. They feature a string quartet and a growing brass section around drums, guitar, piano and vocals, creating a lush backdrop for Neal's voice to be at home in. Amphibic have appeared on a bill with Keane, Paul Weller and Nigel Kennedy and leant their cello player to the Divine Comedy. Sebastian Sternberg is currently busy playing for Marina and the Diamonds. http://amphibic.wordpress.com/ www.myspace.com/amphibic Neal has signed a publishing deal for 2 songs off the last EP with an American publisher specialising in TV and Film, so expect to hear some tracks on an American show soon They signed to Haldern Pop Records in 2004 and have released two albums with them so far. The first one, FILM IN MY HEAD in 2004 and THERE WERE MILLIONS OF THEM in 2008. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
