American Thread is a rock and roll band founded by Guitarist/Singer Brendan Ahern and Drummer Geoff Downing in 2012. Based out of Boston, American Thread just released their first Album, Killing Days, recorded at Proofbox Studios in Somerville with Producer/multi instrumentalist Steve Mayone. Killing Days blends influences from Bruce Springsteen to The Pogues and focuses on themes seen often in the Northeast from the plight of commercial fishermen to observations one can make in any bar around Boston. The band is filled out by the Taggart brothers, Mike Taggart on lead guitar and Gary Taggart on Bass.
