Composer and electronics man Ambrose Field and tenor John Potter have come together in Field's 2007 creation Being Dufay which uses extracts from early Renaissance composer Guillaume Dufay’s songs and motets, which are sung by Potter. The album was released in 2009 through ECM. "John sings the Dufay lines, while Ambrose digitally multiplies and modifies the newly composed material from more than 100 original tracks . The result is a rich, contemporary sound world which retains the essence of 15th-century Franco-Flemish polyphony."
