The post-hardcore outfit Amberglow formed in Malmö, Sweden in 2020, consisting of vocalist Bastian Wernefort, drummer Simon Roth Kalla as well as guitarist Sarry Roth Kalla. With dynamic arrangements where fast meets airy, harsh and delicate is mixed with traces of slow ambient elements, Amberglow’s ambition is to make the music embrace and emphasise the lyrics and sentiment behind their songs. The aim is to give the listener an emotional experience. This results in a melancholic yet energetic musical landscape. “Strongly reminiscent of Casey, ‘Hole’ still carries Amberglow’s own unique flavour across its pensive spoken word section and through to the rawer post-hardcore moments. ‘Hole’ is a slowburning and building track that seeks for listeners to have patience with it and the sentiment it shares”. - Depth Magazine about the single ‘Hole’.
