Am I Alive was a post-hardcore/alternative rock band from Lake Elsinore/Riverside, California, United States. They released an EP in 2011 called Diamonds & Deadlines. Bio from their Myspace in 2010: "Hailing from the Temecula Valley and Rancho Cucamonga, California, Am I Alive is a group of passionate musicians who take post hardcore music to the next level. San Diego transplant and lead guitarist Glen Morse (Eternal Unborn), helped to form the group in early 2008. After only lacking a bassist for a full line up, Josh Strong (Late Summer) was recruited in July of 2008 and Am I Alive was ready to burst onto the local music scene. Only weeks after the addition of the bassist, rhythm guitarist Brandon Adcock (Late Summer) was the final piece to the puzzle and the band began writing new material and playing local venues. Coming from a vast array of music styles and influences, Am I Alive blends genres such as; metal, hardcore, punk, and industrial rock into a relatively unheard form of post hardcore rock music. Switching from riffs that often have an ''in your face'' style to ones that make you feel like getting up an dancing. Melodic bridges are mixed with fierce breakdowns, and captivating guitar solos have you reminiscing of the music we all once loved. Just as you think you know what is coming next, catchy instrumental interludes are added with a tasteful touch.
