Melodies carved out in the best tradition of pop, a caressing voice which can also be inflamingly sensual, a piano and a bewitching backup group , this is Alys. The lyrics of her music reflect a sensibility of life as she lives it, a music between fantasy and quiet energy Alys earns her place in pop-folk music. Alys adventures in music took shape with the meeting of Gaetan, a pianist-composer, who’s music was similar with that of Alys. The singer and the composer decided to join forces and with the addition of other musicians the group Alys was born. Alys tells through her songs the stories of lives that have passed, such as in “Time”, of a paradise sought after, “ New Heaven” but also subjects which are more sensitive such as the subject of anorexia in “Anna” or loneliness in “ The dust of time”. The group is finishing the recording of their latest songs. On stage Alys moves gracefully between ballades and higher energy music,including music from the Beatles to the music from films.
