Almost Anyone is an electronic music project started in December 2011 by . Inspired by the chirpy, upbeat sound of electronic music, Almost Anyone started by exploring up-tempo instrumental dance music, releasing the EP in early 2012. Followed by the first Almost Anyone album - the trance-infused - that same year. April 2013 saw the release of the album , representing a shift towards a more traditional EDM sound that would shift again in the 2014 album to a more fizzy electronic pop-inspired sound that led to songs such as and , followed by the 2015 release of unreleased & B-side material with . In January 2020, Alex released the 18-track concept album , a 3-part album dealing with the concept of moving on and making up for time lost to different aspects and ventures in life. In 2022, Almost Anyone released the album , a spiritual successor to the 2014 chiptune-inspired release Digital You, doubling down on the retro video game inspiration to create a fusion of electronic pop and chiptune styles. In April 2023, Almost Anyone released to celebrate 10 years since the original's release. A project of two halves, first taking a sonic revisit of the 2013 release, followed by a fresh take on the sonic palette established on the original, featuring vocals and more experimental song styles.
