Allun were born in the summer of '98 in the squat CSA La Sede in Vigevano (Pavia, Italy), between the rice fields in the Po plain. Being in the gig-managing of this squat, the 4 girls of the original core (Stefania, Patrizia, Wanda and Katia), have the idea of start tehemselves to play. Since Katia is the only one who could play an instrument (bass), they decide to make their being non-musicians the start point of the band. Katia is put therefore on the instrument she can play less, the drums, Stefania on voice and guitar, Patrizia on bass and Wanda on household-electric and typewriter. So their approach is pure and lacking in any reference, criterion and intenzionality in the improvisation, so their first concerts are a bomb of unexpected success. The visual side moreover is very cared, with grandguignolesque disguises and performances before and during the live shows. Their first 7" released by Bar la Muerte in the April of '99, in a limited edition of 500 copies with different hand-made covers, and gets excellent reviews everywhere and concerts with people like Francois Cambuzat, Sainkho, One Dimensional Man, Melt Banana, Bz Bz Ueu. A privileged relationship with Topolin Edizioni (Brian The Brain, PsychoPathiaSexualis etc) is also created, for them they play some concerts. The first cd is released in 2000 in coproduction Bar La Muerte and Snowdonia, has already been reprinted, has 6 different covers and has got equal critics success.
