Allison Park comes to the pop music scene with a highly developed musical background and an exceptional vocal range. That breadth of experience and depth of ability – along with her charismatic personality and free-spirited approach to songwriting and storytelling – have caught the attention of industry insiders, established performers and dedicated fans alike. This fall, those talents will be on display as she begins her first national tour with another musical sensation, Plain White T’s. Allison’s professional career started when she was just 11 and began performing around her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. By the time she was 15, she had a backing band of her own, more than 300 shows across the Northeast to her credit and a network of thousands of loyal fans. Remarkably, she accomplished all of this without the support of a major label – true testimony to her compelling and distinct sound. Talent like that will go unnoticed by music professionals for only so long, and in 2009, she came to the attention of Chasin Records. The company recognized immediately that she offered a genuinely unique sensibility, irresistible melodies and universally appealing stories – a rare combination of attributes that would speak to everyone from pop music fans to alternative listeners and beyond.
