There are two different artists called Alligatorman. 1. Alligatorman is a producer and DJ from Austria. 2. Alligatorman was a very obscure, one-off Dutch rock project in 1971, featuring two Americans (Rick Lillian and Dave Shapireau) and a Canadian (John Wilmshurst) who were all living in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, at the time. They recorded a single with Dutch musician and producer Hans van Oosterhout. The 45 was a very confusing thing: on the sleeve it read Aligator and the title of the A-side was spelled 'Aligatorman' (both with a single 'l'), but the label of the record itself read Alligatorman as the artist and 'Alligatorman' as the song title.
