Sean Apple - Guitar and vocals Martin Grant - Harmonica and vocals Dixie Street - Drums and vocals SEAN"BAD"APPLE has studied at the feet of historical bluesman for the better part of two decades.In 1993 he learned and spent time with the then 88 yr. old Bentonia Blues native, Jack Owens. Jack was a contemporary of Skip James. Sean then spent close to three years under R.L.Boyce of Como, MS who came up under Otha Turner's Rising star fife and drum band,Mississippi Fred Mcdowell,R.L. Burnside and Junior Kimbrough.Apple for a short stint teamed up with Joseph Burnside and Calvin Jackson.Calvin is the Father of Cedric Burnside. Apple also served as guitar player for the Terry Harmonica Bean blues band for two years out of Pontotoc, MS. Apple plays mostly now as a solo, duo or with his band THE ALL NIGHT LONG BLUES BAND. Apple's right hand man is his harmonica player Martin"big boy"Grant who was on Jesse Mae Hemphill's last recordings, frequented Junior Kimbrough"s juke joint on Sunday nights,had bands with Apple that featured RL Boyce,Joseph Burnside, Calvin Jackson and appears with Apple in the famous coffee table book of amazing blues and Mississippi oriented photos "BLUES,BOOZE AND BARBEQUE". Holding down drums with the band is Clarksdale, MS resident Dixie Street, a great North Ms. Hill Country blues drummer.
