All Mankind is an indie/alternative rock band from Sydney, Australia. The band formed in 2007 in Eastwood, a suburb of Sydney. The band's name was inspired by a line from the Pearl Jam song "Mankind." All Mankind's music is often compared to bands like U2, Coldplay, Muse, and Keane. Their debut album, "Puzzles," was released in 2008. Their breakthrough came with the album Simple "Desire" in 2011 and with the single "Break The Spell," which received worldwide radio coverage and was used in the video game FIFA 12 and the series Gossip Girl. The band has continuously released music since its formation, although they have been quieter in recent years. Their last known sign of life was the release of the song "Welcome Home" in January 2016. There is no official indication that the band has disbanded.
