Alkali Flat is the solo project forwarded by Alan Fitzgerald. Raised in Midwest America, Alan was influenced by Sonic Youth, Smashing Pumpkins, and solo artists such as Beck and Trent Reznor- inspired by the thought of creating music all by themselves, he set out to do the same. It wasn't until moving to Ireland in 2000 that he began performing with friends. Since 2003, he has been working on his own music, recording everything himself. Moulding powerful angular riffs and pop-rock know-how, Alkali Flat creates songs that incorporate catchy hooks, solid guitar tones and electronic elements.
