Alison’s Fantasy is a singer, songwriter, and producer who has been independently creating and releasing music since 2022. Her early work began under the name Samantha Jane Smith, including the 2022 album samantha.exe, which was later removed from streaming platforms in August 2023. In 2024, she released a second project titled Blue Monday to YouTube before eventually taking it down, marking a transitional period in both her sound and artistic identity. Adopting the alias Alison’s Fantasy, she released Alison’s Diary, a compilation of experimental and unserious tracks that introduced her new persona, followed by the EP Mentally Not Here. Her official debut album, The Alison’s Fantasy Agenda, was released on August 31, 2025. The story-driven experimental pop record follows Alison throughout exploring identity, validation, relationships, and ambition. Across the album, she shifts between personas; from somebody desperate for attention in “You’re Gonna Have to Pay,” to someone experiencing love in “Crush” and “Juliet,” and eventually confronting heartbreak in tracks like “I Wish I Didn’t Care,” “Unappreciated,” and “My Boy.” The album also portrays emotional regression and cycles of behavior. “Can U Call Me Back?” demonstrates Alison’s naivety as she begs for a relationship to return, while “From The Back (feat. danica decay)” reflects a return to old habits after the breakup.
