Aliens Ate My Radio! is a one-man DIY operation that oddly sounds like two men, or else one man with a double-throat, and while that may sound a little far-fetched, it has been known for quite some time by many extremely famous scientists around the world (mostly in Argentina) that some branches of the evolutionary tree veer off from the main trunk in situations where one sub-group within the larger species is so isolated from the rest of the species that development along "mainstream" lines becomes quite impossible, due to the "mixing" of DNA in a different sort of "fashion," and so what you end up with is a totally different "weird" group with totally different DNA "constructions" and other stuff. I apologize if my technical scientific jargon is confusing you a little bit, but suffice it to say that the hypothetical existence of a double-throated humanoid species dwelling in some far off isolated place in the world (with an acoustic guitar, a 4-track recorder, and a passion for exploiting the almost limitless and hitherto unexplored potential of righteous "stadium-rock" style kazoo solos) is not completely out of the question. Of course, different theories abound (mostly in Japan). But the songs are all written (if you can call it that) and recorded at night while sitting at the kitchen table, a speckled blue and white formica little affair bought just last Spring at the Salvation Army for about $10 (though I dare say it was worth it), and the guitar is strummed in an awkwa
