Alice In Black (previously known as A. Maya and Dandere-P) is an American producer and songwriter. She started posting music in the name of A. Maya around 2013 and a year later, 3 July of 2014, she released her debut album called Winter Butterfly. In the same year she would release the EPs Aristocrat and Love You More (Than Words Can Say). She would relase, 4 days later, in 2015, her second album Candles. In July she would release the compilation Perpective, and the following months, she released the EPs October (in October) and Adversity (in December). The next year, in February, she would release her third album and last album in this name called Rivalry&Lies. She would enter in a hiatus, which years later she explained that she didn't had time to make music and privated all of her old music. Her 2017 song, Lament of a Suicidal Spinster was added into a compilation of worst Vocaloid songs, and the clip exploded because the song was lost media. She would rebrand as Alice In Black in around 2024 and released the full PV of Spinster in her youtube channel and made a statement in the comments explaining the meaning of the song and the reason of the hiatus and rebrand. As Alice In Black, she released Phoenix in 3 July of 2024, this album included remasters of old songs (like Girl Crush), and a new version of Spinster was released featuring Megurine Luka, with new lyrics.
