Alexis Grapsas is a film and television composer known for his work on major projects such as the film Pig (2021) and A Quiet Place: Day One (2024), as well as numerous TV series. Originally from Lefkada, Greece, he is currently based in Los Angeles and works out of a studio on the Warner Bros Studio Lot. Grapsas began his musical education at a young age, growing up in a classical music conservatory run by his mother. He pursued advanced composition studies and mechanical engineering in Athens before earning a scholarship to study film scoring in Boston, which initiated his international and U.S. career. His musical approach combines classical training with deep knowledge of music technology, utilizing various methods including orchestral recordings, unique acoustic instruments, and electronic programming.
