Alexandra Ivan *voice* Alec Sandor *guitar, backing vocals* Pop/pop-rock duo from Bucharest, Romania. Alexandra & Alec have been writing and performing music for over 10 years, but separately. They had a brief romantic moment back in 2003 and then met again in January 2008. They fell in love and started working together, mixing Alexandra's pop/soul influences with Alec's rock/progressive background. In August 2009 they released their first single, "La cafea" (Coffee Time), followed by a promotional LP entitled "Little Dreams" (december 2010). The second single, "Bad Day", was released In July 2010. In autumn 2010, the duo caught the attention of Radu Baron, a well-known Romanian manager and the owner of RBA Records, who offered them a deal. The third Alexandra & Alec single, "In noapte" ("Into the Night") was released by RBA Records in February 2011. The duo split in late 2011; Alexandra went on to explore a more indie-pop oriented musical style under the stage name NAVI (she also changed her name in real life) and Alec released a single called "Linistea mea".
