Alexander Roland, born 1990 in Heidelberg, Germany, has made music for the most time of his life. Living in New York, he started taking piano lessons at the age of 6, where he mostly did not focus on playing off the sheet, but improvise what came into his mind. Back in Germany, now living in Frankfurt am Main, he started playing guitar and quit taking piano lessons. But Alex always had a passion for electronic dance music, which ended up in buying Technics 1210 at the age of 15 and collection minimal vinyl records. Questioning himself, how the music, which he listens to, had been made and with which equipment the sound had been produced, he started to compose music himself professionally. In 2006 he released his debut EP on Karmarouge named "Auftrieb". The music he produces is minimal house, mixed with a little bit of acid and athmospheric elements.
