Samples of O'Neal's vocals have been used in the dance hit "My Feeling" by Junior Jack. In 2007, Alexander O'Neal re-recorded the track for his album Alex Loves.. which was released in February 2008. This version featured the vocals of Bianca Lindgren in place of Cherelle. "Never Knew Love Like This" was a successful hit for Alexander O'Neal and Cherrelle in 1988, reaching #2 in the US R&B chart, #26 in the UK and #28 in the Billboard Hot 100. It was the second time Alexander O'Neal and Cherrelle sang together. They sang "Saturday Love" together back in 1985.
