Alex Paul is a noted Malayalam music director born in Kochi, Kerala. His father is A.M. Paul a music artist was involved in the formation of what was perhaps the first Orchestra (in Malayalam: 'ganamela') troupe in Kochi. His brother is Lal, of the Siddique-Lal fame. The songs from Classmates especially Ente Khalbile Vennilavu Nee and Kaattadi thanalum made him a well known composer in the year 2006. He graduated in Carnatic music from R.L.V College, Thripunithura. He learn musical instruments From Kalabhavan, Kochi. He started his own studio, where he composed music for several music albums and for TV serials. Alex made his film debut as music director with Rafi-Mecartin's Chathikkatha Chanthu. For the last couple of year’s musical duo Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma and Alex Paul has been successful in the Malaylam film songs industry, releasing several hits.
