Alex Hood is an Australian folk singer. He was, for years, a dedicated collector and interpreter of Australian folklore. His album "Alex Hood sings of Australia's First Hundred Years" was followed in 1970 by "The Second Hundred Years", both featuring his interpretations of traditional Australian folk songs.
