Alessandra Mussolini (born 30 December 1962) is an Italian former musician, politician, actress, and model. Beginning in the 1970s, Mussolini's aunt, Sophia Loren, helped to nudge her into an acting career. In 1982 Mussolini recorded a pop album, Amore, which was released only in Japan. She continued working as an actress and model until 1990. The granddaughter of Benito Mussolini, she has served a variety of positions in Italy and the European Parliament as a representative of Forza Italia.
