Aleksandr Sergeyevich Zatsepin is a Russian composer, who in his time in the army in the 40s, learned to play several musical instruments. His platoon commander, Yevgeny Semyonovich Matveyev, invited him to play in the Army Amateur Performances, after which he was admitted to the Novosibirsk Army Song and Dance Ensemble.
