Aleksandr Panayotov is a Russian pop artist that was shot to fame in a television show called Narodniy Artist. He came second in the first season. He came second in the Russian national final of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest with a song called "Crescent and Cross" and fifth with Alexei Chumakov in 2005 with a song called "Balalaika". In 2009 he came again second but this time in the Ukrainian national final with a song called "Superhero".
