Alekos Zazopoulos (Αλέκος Ζαζόπουλος in greek) was born and grew up in Ptolemaida. He comes from a family of musicians. Specifically his father and his brother are musicians and along with them he sang for first time at the age of 14. He studied at the school of Agricalture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, but he followed his love for singing while he was young.
