THE HISTORY OF MEDINA "I DON'T KNOW WHICH NOTE I WILL PLAY, I DON'T KNOW WHICH NOTE YOU WILL PLAY BUT THE NOTE KNOWS IT..." is, according to his own words, what defines someone who is passionate about music. "El Negro" MEDINA was born in ALMAGRO (barrio de Almagro, Buenos Aires; November 1th - 1949) and at the age of 10 he began to play the trumpet, which he changed at 14 to 4 strings, his bass! He recorded his first album with THE SEASONS in 1965, together with Carlos MELLINO, edited by Microfon. If we mention the beginnings of rock and blues in Spanish, inevitably, we will talk about ALEJANDRO MEDINA, for being a pioneer within that movement, for being a great bassist, director, composer, arranger and singer-songwriter and for his participation in foundational bands such as MANAL( 1968 - 1970), LA PESADA DEL ROCK & ROLL (1971-1974), AEROBLUS(1977), PAPPO'S BLUES Vol.. 4 (1974) and Vol. 7(1979) also participated with his bass on the albums "VIDA" ( SUI GENERIS -1972) David LEBON(1972) Claudio Gabis and La Pesada(1973) Jorge Pinchevsky y su violín mágico (1973) Kubero Díaz y La Pesada(1973) Cristo Rock- Raúl Porchetto(1973) among others.
