Alejandra O'Leary was born in Portland, Maine, where she became obsessed with the Beatles at a young age. She studied English and Spanish Literature at Yale (graduating in 2004) while playing in acclaimed rock n' roll bands. She released her first solo album, "Nothing Out Loud," on Sept. 1, 2009 to glowing praise from reviewers and fans in both the United States and the United Kingdom. The American blog The Ripple Effect proclaimed Alejandra's songs and performances "truly head and shoulders above the pack". Alejandra O'Leary's new album, "Broken Mirror Baby",was released in September 2011.
