In the spring of 2006, after disbanding General Winter, ELAINE (vox, x-Eastfield), SCOTT (drums, x-Spithead and Anorexia) & SPUD (bass, x-traterestrial!) were lurred into the evil clutches of band slag extraordinaire S@M (gtr&vox, x-Cupid Stunt, Dogshit Sandwich, Eastfield & Sensa Yuma) to create the bastard luv child of Spithead, Cupid Stunt & General Winter, aka ALCOHOL LICKS!!! They discovered their own brand of Punk Rock, known as 'ALCO-PUNK', which shoves a loada genres together (e.g. punk, ska, reggae, dancehall, rock 'n' roll, metal, blues... u name it, we'll murder it!), churns it up, then shits it out the other end... job done! 'Alco-Punk' lyrix deal with the usual punk stuff - politics (anti-racist, anti-homophobic...u know the score) & drinkin . But they also celebrate good people & promote bein' true to yerself & good to others. Basically, the Alco-Punk protocol is: do wot the fuck you like as long as you're not hurtin other people, animals or the environment. Be your own judge - think for yourself & don't let society dictate your thoughts actions. Line-up change came when Elaine, havin only played a few gigs with da Licks, unfortunately left due to a large swellin in her belly... no, it wasn't too many pies, nor was it a bad case of wind... she was up the duff! Thankfully her dulcet tones were etched in plastic for eternity in 2007 as they were part of the mob vox on Alcy Licks's 4 track demo, 'Licks 4 Kicks'.
