Dutch brass band playing covers of pop songs. Alarmfase 3 currently has 23 members. The band has gone through a lot of members and of the original members who started the band at 14 January 1998, there are only four left in the current set up. The set up of Alarmfase 3 is as follows: 4 Alt saxophones, (Mariëlle Meurs, Renee Nijenhuis, Neline de Bie, Desi Damen) 2 Tenor saxophones, (Joske Duifhuizen & Rony Ebben) 5 Trombones, (Ralf van Kesteren, Berry Teunissen, Marije Hoff, Krista Damen, Kees van der Wulp) 1 Baritone, (Koen "kneedje" Prinsen) 5 Trumpets, (Kees van de Sant, Bram Opgenoort, Bram Janssen, Joren Pisters, Bart Spanbroek) 2 Sousaphones, (Jaap van de Sant, Roderik van de Logt) 4 people on rhythm (1 bass drum, 1 snare + cymbals, 1 cymbals, 1 toms) (Erik Meurs, Bram Dhondt, Sjoerd Kersten, Jeroen). It is a very young band if you look at their age, the members are aged between 16 and 35. They are mostly known for their enthousiastic, energetic live performances. Every year they compete in the dutch national championship for these kind of bands in Bemmel (www.dweildag.nl) and in the last few years they have made good results (5th in 2005, 4th in 2006, 2nd in 2007, 3rd in 2008, 4th in 2009). They won the festival in 2010 making them the dutch national champion. They are also the organising band of the Dweilpauze (dweilpauze.alarmfase3.nl). They have recorded some live songs at the 2007 dweilpauze and did record one song in a studio in 2006. (leef niet meer voor jou -
