Artist
Alanis Yuqui Sánchez, known artistically under the pseudonym Alanis Yuki, is a singer, songwriter and producer whose musical style moves between R&B, trap, hip-hop, folk, electronic music, among others. Her minimalist and emotional approach, recorded at home together with her siblings, combines the rawness of intimate and direct lyrics with an experimental sensitivity that unfolds in delicate vocals and dreamlike atmospheres. Influenced from an early age by her father, a music lover, Alanis had her first encounters with singing by participating in local contests during childhood, which sparked an early connection with art. Later, between 2019 and 2022, she began collaborating with artists such as SOUs-sOL and her brother Yumaki, until in 2023 she formalized her solo career by sharing her music on SoundCloud. Demos of tracks like Qnsoy¿ and Lo K Fue preceded her debut EP Diez I 9, a project that blended alternative pop, progressive R&B, lo-fi and new wave. Driven by the impact of her 2025 singles Xxulo and Deseo, Alanis Yuki would join the Monterrey-based label Worldwide Records, with whom she would release her first mixtape Veintidos, which showcased the melodic ability of Alanis and her siblings to transform their influences into a sound and aesthetic that are immediately recognizable.
