Alan McLaren Project, as the name entails, is the musical journey of Alan "McLaren" an Italian music producer based in London (UK). Alan's musical taste is influenced by a variety of genres: growing up in Italy as a teenager in the 90s, he fell in love with the Grunge movement, in particular Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice in Chains. Over the years he opened up to more chilled music, such as Pink Floyd, Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, while still loving some of the most popular bands of the 90s-2000s, like RHCP, Audioslave, Rage Against the Machine, Muse, Placebo and more. As of 2024, Alan has been experimenting with the composition of a mix of Electronic/Rock/Ambient music, tracks featuring various talented singers.
