Not many musicians can pull off an album about space, time, and theoretical physics, but that's exactly what the Alan Cohen Experience accomplishes with the newest album, Space & Time. While reading Stephen Hawking’s “A Brief History of Time”, Cohen found inspiration in each chapter for a new song, including the introduction and conclusion. Exploring topics such as gravity, magnetism, black holes, atoms, and all the poetic aspects that tie these to our understanding of the world and universe, Space & Time explores the uncertainty of science and the universe and how these facets play a profound role in life and existence. Cohen is no stranger to concept albums. His 2007 release, Revolutions, highlighted pop culture's perception of revolutionaries and revolutionary events. The new release finds the Alan Cohen Experience skipping history class for a seat in the science lab, diving into intense topics including songs about Albert Einstein and his contribution to physics, the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, Hawking's “arrows of time” concept and the mathematical relationship between the four major forces. While some of the songs do have a literal interpretation, many will reach fans on another level and they may not even register that it's about theoretical physics. Co-produced by Cohen himself and Tony Goddess of Papas Fritas, both artists play all the instrumental parts on Space & Time, with the exception of drums. This new album has greatly expanded Cohen's musical talent a
