Ala Ghawas, the Bahraini singer/songwriter, armed with the acoustic Guitar and the Piano, passionate about music since the age of 8 and entirely influenced by the folk/rock music of the 70s. His main heroes are Jackson Browne, Bob Dylan, James Taylor and his lifetime favorite band “The Eagles”. Although he’s a bit conservative and shy in showing off his musical talent - maybe his outstanding performance in his academic life didn’t allow him to focus on music, “nobody believes in music as a career in Bahrain” he said - but somehow he knows that his songs will come out at some point of time, not necessarily at the commercial level but just for the sake of letting them out!
