Agony Accepted was first formed by drummer Dannie and the guitarists Victor and Thegers (Patrik). The bands name was BBQ Disaster back then. In the christmas holidays in 2006 Dannie asked singer Jesper if he wanted to audition for lead singer in BBQ Disaster and Jesper said yes. After a few days he was offered the lead singer position and he accepted. The guys had a bassplayer in mind but things didn't turn out with him so bassplayer Linus tried out for the position and it went great. The thing left was changing the band name so Jesper was given this task. After many names Linus and Jesper came up with the name Agony Accepted. The other guys thought it was okay and it's been the band name ever since.
