Born from the young conceptual and graphic design artist Agathe, Regrets was formed in France in the 1980s. Labernia, born in Montpellier, became the face and visual guide for the group. Her fellow school mates Jacques Lyprendi, Frédéric Schlesinger and Gabriel Le Corre made up the remainder of the group. Residing in a city by the Mediterranean, this groups Southern France roots allowed them to represent their sound in all sorts of styles: African, funk, Middle Eastern, and tropical.
