Artist
Born and raised in Canada, Agatha ventured into music at an early age through learning classical pieces on the piano. This eventually led to a serious passion for composing. Her concert music has been performed at the Studio of Visual Arts Theatre, Le Poisson Rouge, Merkin Hall, Symphony Space, MoMa New York City, and the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. Agatha’s film scores have played at Cannes, Tribeca, Slamdance, the LA Film Festival, and the Oscars’ Student Academy Awards. In 2011, she took part in the ASCAP/Columbia and the ASCAP/NYU Film Scoring Workshops. That same year she was granted The Sorel Organization for Women Composers Scholarship as well as the David Rose Award from the ASCAP Foundation. As a lead up to the 2012 Democratic National Convention she provided music for the CNN documentary Obama Revealed. In 2016, she wrote the original score for the film Drowning (starring Jovan Armand from DC Comic’s Shazam!), which premiered on the PBS network. Agatha’s music first reached a global audience through director Mark Raso’s feature film Copenhagen, which won the Audience Award at the 2014 Slamdance Film Festival and the Grand Jury Prize at the Gasparilla and Florida Film Festivals. It is currently available on Netflix in over fifty countries. Agatha’s most recent project Kodachrome, produced by 21 Laps Entertainment (Arrival, Stranger Things) and starring Ed Harris, Jason Sudeikis and Elizabeth Olsen, had its world premiere at the 2017 Toronto Internati
