Afrotronic P is a Nigerian-born electronica/afro-beat/hip-hop producer who is currently sojourning in the United States. A self-proclaimed mp3 addict with over 89,000 songs, his style often taps into so many genres. When asked to describe his music he says “it's a collage of everything I'm privileged to hear and experience offered back to the universe with my own creative twist…as a thank you of sorts”. Though he often collaborates with hip hop artists; his personal projects, which he likes to call Afrotronic music, are heavily rooted in electronically played afro-beats. On these projects he looks to his rich African musical heritage to uncover hidden gems which he tweeks before sharing with the world. Afrotronic P's first instrumental album entitled Eclectic Express was released for free download in the spring of 2008. He is currently working on his next instrumental album.
