Nelson is probably one of the most high profile resident dj's in the world due to the positions he has held at his weekly NEO and Peppermint Club residencies in Dubai warming up for the world's biggest artists and holding his own resident night at NEO. He has received praise not only for his quality warm up sets but also for his big room sets with his unique blend of tech house to techno. His bi-monthly all night sets at NEO packed the club out with no advertising budget but through word of mouth it had become Dubai's underground music haven. An Afroboogie set is both cutting edge and entertaining. During the last 15 years he has been responsible for his own rise in two dfferent territories, something that very few can claim to have achieved. From being a headliner in his native South Africa to this moment in Dubai which is currently one of the favorite destinations for DJ's to play and where on a weekly basis you will find huge names behind the decks. Playing in front of a weekly crowd to an average of 1500+ and having played for even bigger back in South Africa, he is not scared of any crowd, he takes it all in and releases his energy onto everyone else.
