"AVA breathes a breath of fresh air into the hardcore music scene, fusing elements of traditional hardcore, southern metal, and progressive post-hardcore into a sound that stands on its own. After signing with Little Heart Records in 2011, the band released their first EP titled “Revisions” with solid fan response." The band had members from bands She Asked For It and With Hearts Like Trumpets. They were signed to Little Heart Records. Both EPs were done at Earlygrayce studios with Jordan Haynes, guitarist of Artifex Pereo.
